Validation of the nKPI and OSR reports provides a quality assurance check that the clinical information systems are accurately reporting each of the indicators. This independently conducted service checks the integrity of the report outputs from four clinical information systems - Best Practice, Communicare, Medical Director, and MMEx.

Validation is undertaken twice a year prior to commencement of the reporting rounds on 1 July and 1 January. The results of each validation process conducted by Solving Health are presented in the format of a web accessible scorecard.
